This piece was hand made using resin, dried flowers and a vertebrae from a rattlesnake. Overall this piece took me about a week, maybe more, to make and I have loved holding on to it. This one has been hard to let go, but I am ready for her to get a bit more love that what I have been able to.
The frame of this brooch was from a salvaged jewelry collection at an estate sale and likely used to hold a cameo, I hand poured layer after layer of the resin to get the shape of the brooch into the golden frame, no molds or anything like that! All free pour!
