This piece took months to create, execute and finish and I’m happy to finally call it finished, with stainless steel chains to complete the look in a feminine way that exudes strength and power, this pendent is ready to find the right soul as its lunar home! This is a one of one piece and will never be made again.

1940s Hazelle's Clown Marionette
$100.00

Found in the forgotten corners of an old home, this is no mere toy. It is a vintage Hazelle's "Airplane Control" clown marionette, an artifact from an era when laughter held a different, more unsettling echo. Its painted gaze follows you, and the worn strings seem to twitch with an unnatural life, even when untouched.

Operated by the patented "airplane control" mechanism, you don't control the puppet so much as you give it permission to move. The original box, slightly faded but intact, serves as both its coffin and its stage, promising a performance that never truly ends.

Teto was created by the legendary Hazelle Rollins, a pioneer who trained under Tony Sarg and held patents that changed the industry. Her “airplane control” mechanism (the 7-string controller he comes with) made marionettes easier and more fluid to operate.

By the 70s, her company was the world’s largest puppet manufacturer! Teto here, with his bright expressive face and classic polka-dot suit, is a perfect example of the detail in her work.

Septarian Point Fragment
$30.00

These are one of the coolest rocks that actually form from decaying matter! Septarian rock, also known as a septarian nodule or dragon stone, is a sedimentary rock concretion that formed 50-70 million years ago around a decaying sea creature or plant. It is characterized by cracks, called septaria, which are often filled with mineral-rich calcite crystals. These rocks are found in places like Madagascar, Morocco, and parts of the United States.

Formation and composition

  • Formation

Septarians form in marine environments. A mud bubble containing decaying organic matter hardens into a concretion. As the mud dried out, it cracked, and mineral-rich water seeped into the cracks to form crystals.

  • Composition

They are a combination of minerals, primarily limestone or mudstone on the outside, with cracks filled by calcite and aragonite.

Characteristics

  • Appearance: The outer shell is often a grey or tan limestone, while the internal cracks are filled with yellow calcite crystals. The name "septarian" comes from the Latin word "septum," meaning "partition," referring to the cracks.

  • Shape: They are typically spherical or ovoid.

  • Other names: They are sometimes called "dragon eggs" or "lightning stones".

Where they are found

  • Locations

They are found globally, with notable deposits in Madagascar, Morocco, and the USA, particularly in Utah.

  • Geological context

They form in layers of sedimentary rock and are often found in shale, siltstone, and sandstone.

Metaphysical and Healing Properties

In metaphysical practices, Septarian is considered a powerful grounding stone associated with the root, sacral, and solar plexus chakras. Believers use it to:

  • Enhance Communication: It is considered a "speaking stone" that can boost confidence and public speaking skills.

  • Promote Emotional Healing: It is believed to absorb negative energy, encourage patience and tolerance, and help heal emotional trauma.

  • Instill Strength: Nicknamed "Dragon Stone," it is thought to provide courage, inner strength, and resilience.

Giraffe Tooth Fossil
Sale Price: $50.00 Original Price: $65.00

This fossil, showing a tooth and partial jawbone, comes from a relative of modern giraffes, part of the diverse Giraffidae family. The estimated age of 5–8 million years places it firmly within the Late Miocene, a key period for giraffid evolution.

While the fossil record includes the modern Giraffa genus, it is far more extensive, featuring many other extinct genera. This specimen is likely an early member of this wider evolutionary family, possibly one of the following genera known from that period:

  • Bohlinia: An extinct genus of long-necked giraffid that lived during the Late Miocene. It was widespread across Eurasia and Africa and is considered a likely ancestor of the modern Giraffa lineage.

  • Sivatherium: A large, heavily-built giraffid genus that lived across Africa and Eurasia.

  • Samotherium: An extinct giraffid genus from the Miocene and Pliocene of Eurasia and Africa.

  • Decennatherium rex: Discovered in Spain and dating to about 9 million years ago, this early four-horned giraffid is considered an ancestor of the sivathere and samothere lineages.
